Gerasimov The effectiveness of the device, which is based on interstitial electrical simulation, reduces the treatment time for pain syndromes by 2-3 times compared to traditional treatment methods, the effect is achieved in 95% of patients. The device uses an electric current very similar to the natural human biocurrents. Interstitial electrical stimulation improves blood circulation and microcirculation, resulting in reduction of pain. The development is protected with 5 patents for treatment methods and a patent for a utility model.
INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING
Instrument engineering is one of the key sectors in mechanical engineering of the Sverdlovsk Region. The volume of production of the instrument engineering companies is 48,266 million rubles. The main assortment: the most sophisticated gyroscopic instruments and equipment for aviation purposes, control and testing equipment, medical equipment, control systems and electronic equipment for rocket and space technologies, control systems for automation of processes in various industries.

The Scientific and Production Association of automatics named after academician N.A. Semikhatov is a leading company in development and production of radio equipment and control systems.
Control systems produced by the Scientific and Production Association of automatics are now used for spaceship launch at the Baikonur (Kazakhstan), Plesetsk (Russia) and Kuru (French Guiana) cosmodromes. Four manufacturers of artificial lung ventilation devices recommended for use in medical institutions in Russia are located in Ekaterinburg.
Shvabe is a leader in the production of neonatal rehabilitation devices. The Ural Electronics Plant is the first Russian company that commissioned production of optical data storage devices (memory sticks, DVDs, etc.).
